Product Details

The first edition of Ace My Path: Flow Cytometry is an attempt to provide residents, fellows, and practicing Hematopathologists with an easy-to-understand resource for flow cytometry. With a case-based approach, we have tried to focus on your daily clinical practice, as well as the detailed explanations help you understand key concepts in flow cytometry. The unique aspect of this book is an augmentation of the cases with video tutorials for these cases available on our website acemypath.com. The book and the videos cover the basic principles of flow cytometry and then engage in detailed reviews of the flow cytometric evaluation of B-cells, plasma cells, T-cells, and myeloid cells. Thus, the book provides a comprehensive review of important immunophenotypic data, presented in a user-friendly format.

This book also explains normal and abnormal findings for each lineage and has a good mix of commonly encountered cases in hematopathology with their flow plots and goes over some rare cases as well. Using the updated nomenclature for clinical hematologic malignancies provided by the revised edition of the WHO classification system, the book is current in its approach and content. The authors have tried to provide detailed colored examples of flow cytometric plots in most cases, to highlight the important diagnostic features.

We hope that our readers will find our book helpful in their learning of flow cytometry and show this book the same enthusiasm they have shown towards our previous endeavors. As always, any feedback is welcome as we progress on this journey.
We wish you success!
